I’ve read both Reasonable Lies and Jane’s Journal and I can honestly say it was one of my favourite reads from last year.

I’m in the minority here so am going to give my honest review. I didn’t enjoy Sarah’s story as much as Jane. Probably because she was so consumed with so much grief that it was harder to focus mainly with Sarah’s story as Jane been mentioned quiet a lot throughout the book. I really want to know more about Sarah’s childhood if there’s a sequel to this.

Sarah is the kind of friend that everyone would want to be on our side. I could actually feel her pain, grief and lost. There’s only so many things a person can take and I can honestly say that she’s one hell of a strong woman. In my opinion she did the right thing and shouldn’t have been ashamed of her past. She did what she think was best and for that I applaud her.

This is a story that reminds us that the secrets we keep don’t stay buried forever. That life is too short, so we should live our lives to the fullest.
