Day 1 with Abbie‘s Review and Pics.

“So honoured to be the first stop on the book tour for Reasonable Lies by @tarosewood

Where do I start? I brought this book last year without knowing a thing about it because I liked the cover. When I say I’m so glad I did I really mean it, it is easily one of the best books I’ve read and T.A.Rosewood has definitely become my new favourite author.

Reasonable Lies is the first novel by T.A.Rosewood. A rollercoaster ride of emotions, compelling lead characters and a heartbreaking yet heartwarming story.

In a story that follows Jane as she deals with a shocking and unexpected diagnosis, we follow as she starts a series of lies to protect her family from the heartbreaking truth.

What starts as a charity fundraiser at the office leads to a life-changing discovery for Jane.

Balancing life, work, and keeping her secret how long will Jane be able to spin her web of lies before she gets caught out?

Visiting her father’s grave Jane meets James, who quickly becomes a friend, the support she needs. Seeing the friendship grow is such a beautiful addition to the story. Really heartwarming.

It shows that sometimes you meet someone who will quickly become a key part of your life in the most unexpected of places when you least expect it.

This book covers an emotional topic so real in the world today in such a sensitive manner, so well written.

Although I’d figured out what I thought was going to happen by the end, this book still managed to catch me out with unexpected moments that left me reaching for the tissues. (Which happened on more than one occasion throughout)

It has such a beautiful ending that left me reaching for a tissue. It really was just beautiful, so well written.

This is a heartwarming story, a real page-turner, I did not want to put it down and stayed up into the early hours to finish it. While it’s a heartbreaking story that really pulls on the heartstrings it really is an amazing book and I would highly recommend it.

Honestly, even if it’s not what you’d usually reach for I’d definitely recommend you give it a go.

Don’t forget to follow the rest of the tour across June and into July!!
