Today’s playgroup visit was another local one in Newport, just ten minute’s drive from me.

The children, mums, dads, and grandparents gathered on the mats in front of me and I read ‘I’m Not Scared’ with Billy Brave.

Again, I was very nervous but everyone was so nice and supportive. It was an absolute pleasure to come in, read to the group and meet everyone.

Big thanks to all those who bought a book – I’m overwhelmed with the response today and am ever so happy.

I even met a Bookstagrammer who follows me on Instagram – check out the picture of us with her cute little pumpkin, Daisy.

Thank you so much to Jennifer for organising my visit and to the lovely team, James, Sophie and Christine for such a warm and friendly welcome.

I hope you all enjoyed the book and I will hopefully visit again very soon with more books to read.

Newport Essex Playgroup meet in Station road, Newport, in term time only, and caters for ages 0-4 years. They provide a friendly and welcoming group for play, chat and snacks.
