On Wednesday, 10th March, I received a private message from one of my local radio stations, BBC Essex which in itself was very exciting.

They searched on Instagram for ‘Essex Author’ and found me, yay.

The reason they had contacted me was that they were doing a section that evening live online about ebooks versus paperbacks and how it is moving over more to the digital side these days and in the current situation we have been in during COVID. They asked me to take part and give my views on it all, so I said yes of course.

So at 8 pm, I settled in for my first ever Zoom meeting along with Jake Peach the presenter, Greg Fidgeon, another indie author, and two bookstagrammers, Megan, and Vanessa.

We had a good chat about how ebooks have changed the way people now choose to read books.

You can listen to the discussion for a limited time by clicking the button on this page which takes you to the BBC Essex Sounds site.

From 1 hour 15 minutes into Jake’s session is where you will find us all.
