It’s taken me a while to write this review as I want to get the words right to be able to do it justice, however, I don’t think it’s possible.
If you read just one book this year, make it Quiet Whispers!!
This book was everything!
Traci has gone and done it again. I am blown away. While reading Quiet Whispers I giggled, I cried, I laughed out loud and I full-on sobbed.
I felt warm and cosy and had my heart broken all at the same time but I wouldn’t change anything about it.
There are two specific parts of Quiet Whispers that are going to stick with me forever, they are so beautiful written and just what I personally needed to read! I felt such a strong connection to the MFC Kitty as I’ve been in her shoes watching my own nan go through alzheimers, Traci has once again written in such a sensitive way, showing a real life situation so delicately it’s just magic how she does it.
The MMC Fred had my heart from the start, the name alone means a lot to me but there was just always something so charming about him. Although he did make me angry at times, I was secretly always routing for him!
I loved every second of Kitty and Freds journey, but I also loved all the other characters too! Ava in particular put the biggest smile on my face, she is just full of warmth!
Thank you Traci from the bottom of my heart for writing yet another 5 star book, letting me be a rosette and giving me the chance to read and review this masterpiece before it’s released. I felt so connected to this book, I will hold it close forever.
